Graveside services for Graham Ballard AKA: “PawPaw” 88, of Honey Grove, Texas, formerly of Golden are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 25, 2019 in Sand Springs Cemetery, Mineola, TX.

Mr. Ballard was a longtime X Ray Technician and spent most of his years working in the Clarksville hospital, and living in Bogata, Texas until his retirement. He was always ready to hand out hugs to family and friends alike, and will be missed for his consistent sense of humor and quick wit. Graham enjoyed working with wood, and always enjoyed his time with his grandchildren and family. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, the Air Force took him to Alaska, before its statehood, he spent his time there as an intelligence communications specialist, and could still cipher Morse code until his senior years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Scharls Yvonne (Wallace) Ballard in 2015. Surviving family includes, his son, Dwight Ballard and wife Wendy of Etoile, TX; his three daughters, Marshalla Downs and husband Fred of Paris, TX; Charlotte Roberts and husband Brian of Mineola, TX, and Cathey Page and husband Marcus, of Honey Grove, TX; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
