Gerald "Jerry" Potts

Funeral services for Gerald "Jerry" Potts, 76, Quitman are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday April 26, 2014, Lowe Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes, Quitman with Dr. Dick White officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery, FM 778 East of Quitman. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday evening, April 25th at the funeral home.
Jerry was born February 25, 1938 in San Bernardino, CA to Charles F. and Laurine Vaughn Potts and passed away April 23, 2014 in Tyler. He was a Line Forman for a Electric Utility Co., a member of Liberty United Methodist Church, Quitman, the Masonic Lodge in Sacramento, CA and he served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Neva Harbin Potts, Quitman; 1 son, Jeffrey Potts and wife Heidi, West Virginia; a former daughter-in-law, Pattie Anderson, a twin brother, Bruce Potts and his wife Ruth, Roseville, CA; 3 grandchildren, Jeremy Potts and Randi Anderson, Oklahoma City, OK and Gerald Potts II, West Virginia and several nieces and nephews and extended family.
Donations may be made to the Liberty United Methodist Church Building Fund, Quitman or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
