George Carroll Hagle

George Carroll Hagle, aged 71, passed away on November 1, 2023, at his residence in Quitman, Texas. Born on May 20, 1952, in Haskell, Texas, Carroll was the beloved husband of Patricia Hagle for over three decades.

Throughout his career, Carroll held significant managerial positions at TG&Y, WalMart, and Dollar General. His dedication, work ethic, and leadership skills were admired by colleagues and acquaintances alike.

In his leisure time, Carroll found solace in the simple pleasures of life. He took great pride in maintaining his yard, which became a testament to his meticulous nature. Carroll also had a passion for travel and especially enjoyed going on cruises, where he created new memories with his wife Patricia, and forged lasting bonds with fellow travelers.

Carroll's memory will forever be cherished by his adoring wife, Patricia Hagle, his children Will Hagle, Audra Miears, Casey Hagle and Gary Godwin, along with their respective spouses Jeni Hagle, Cris Miears, Katie Hagle and Patricia Godwin. He will also be deeply missed by his brother, Gary Hagle, and his sisters, Neva Harris, Cathey Lee, and Laura Holsun, as well as his ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Carroll’s family will be Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Lowe-Gardner Funeral Home.  His funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 10:00am at the Funeral Home. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all friends and well-wishers for their love and support during this difficult time.

May George Carroll Hagle’s soul find eternal peace, and may his memories be a source of comfort and inspiration for all who know and loved him.
