Frances Kay Ramirez-Stovall, 57, passed away at CHRISTUS Mother Frances hospital on October 16, 2026. Born on February 20, 1969, in Garland, Texas, to Whitby Foster Wise III and Debra Harris Wise. Frances lived a life filled with love for her family, a passion for the open road, and a wonderful sense of humor that made her uniquely special.
Frances graduated from Bryan Adams High School and spent much of her early life in the Dallas area before moving to Yantis, Texas, in the early 2000s. She loved her work as a truck driver and took pride in a career that allowed her to do what she enjoyed. Whether she was behind the wheel of a truck or riding her motorcycle alongside family and friends, Frances had a love for the freedom of the open road and the memories made along the way. Above all, Frances dearly loved her children and family.
Frances enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; including fishing, tending her flowers, decorating for Halloween and Christmas, and spending time with the people she loved. She had a unique and memorable personality, a great sense of humor, and a way of bringing laughter into the lives of those around her. Frances was never one to be quite like everyone else, and that is part of what made her so loved. Even her choice of pets reflected her one-of-a-kind spirit, as she had two pet skunks over the years. Though her absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled, the love she shared and the stories that bring smiles and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Whitby Foster Wise III and many loved pets.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Chad Stovall; her mother, Debra Wise; her daughter, Reina Harris, and her husband Daniel; her son, Christopher Ramirez, and his wife, Morgan; her brother, Terry Wise; her grandson, Jason Harris; her two bonus sons, Adam Kenney and Branden Collins; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on October 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Lowe-Gardner Funeral Home. Burial at Rock Hill Cemetery will follow the visitation.
Frances will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
