Florence Elizabeth Miller

Memorial services for Florence Miller are scheduled to 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at First United Methodist Church in Quitman.

Florence Elizabeth Miller was born June 28, 1923 in the Owens community in Brown County, TX to Luther Bell Buris and Annie Melvina Manley Buris. She passed away February 8, 2014 in Quitman at the age of 90.

She is survived by her sister Helen Smith of Clyde, TX and her three children: daughters and sons-in-law Mary and Vida Aiona of Paramount, CA and Lajeana and David Parsons of Quitman and son Larry Miller of Mineola; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Miller was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Martie Bell Buris and Annie Mae Buris Hradilek and two brothers, Luther Duane Buris and Lindle Wayne Buris.

Florence was a licensed vocational nurse and loved to paint and do all sorts of craftwork. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Quitman. If desired, memorials can be made to the Quitman First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
