Funeral services for Ethel "Kitty" Hobgood 84 Quitman are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday November 27, 2015 Lowe Funeral Home Chapel Quitman with Brother Fred Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Cemetery, Winnsboro. There will be no family visitation.
Kitty was born April 7, 1931 in Rockport, TX to the late Smiley and Mattie Helm Livingston and passed away November 24, 2015 in Quitman.
She moved to Wood County in 1986 from Mississippi and was a member of the First Baptist Church Quitman. Kitty was preceded in death by 1 son, Jessie Gordon in 2015; 2 sisters, Doris Palmer and Marge Russell.
Kitty is survived by 1 son, Glenn Hobgood, Grenada, MS; 4 daughters, Ginger Brandon, Quitman, GiGi Champion, Winnsboro, Gloria Byrd, Horn Lake, MS and Gale Hobgood, Jackson, TX; 1 sister, Irene Nathanson, Winnsboro; 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
