Visitation for Ernie Lee “Chip†Irons, 58, of Quitman, is scheduled for 2:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home.
Ernie Lee Irons was born in Quitman on October 20, 1958 to Ernest L. Irons and Erlene (Sandifer) Irons. He was a Quitman resident his entire life and most people knew him as “Chipâ€. He worked for many years at Duke Propane.
Chip passed away Friday morning, January 6, 2017 in Quitman.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves behind his sister, Ernestene Keith of Tyler, and numerous nieces and cousins.
