Elizabeth Deaver Courtney

Graveside services for Elizabeth Courtney, 99, Austin, formerly of Quitman are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Quitman City Cemetery.Elizabeth was born August 4, 1913 in O'Brien, Texas. She married J. F. Courtney at the age of 20 and they lived most of their life together in Quitman. He preceded her in death in l989. She is survived by 3 children; Carol Martin, Silver Skpring, MD., Shirley Bennion, Austin, TX., and Jim Courtney, Lake D'Arbonne, LA; 3 grandchildren, Beth Steeley, Queenstown, MD, Jason (Sarah) Courtney, Orrington, ME and Courtney (Michael) Twigg Columbus, GA; six great grandchildren, Carolina El'Azar, Dallas, TX, Christian, Meghan, Aidan, Lily, and Eloise Twigg of Columbus, GA.
