Edward Jay Morrow, 63, of Hawkins, Texas, passed away on June 5, 2026.

Edward was born on May 13, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, to Kenneth Ray Morrow Jr. and Beverly Joyce (Frentz) Morrow. He was a lifelong resident of Wood County and spent his life among the people and places he knew best.

Edward worked as a truck driver for a brief time and was employed with Turner’s Land Management off and on from 2018 until 2026. Edward loved landscaping and spending time on the lawn mower, but had a love-hate relationship with the weed eater! He was known for his determination and ability to keep moving forward through life's challenges, always finding a way to persevere.

He enjoyed spending time at the lake, riding bicycles, fishing, and gathering around bonfires with family and friends. Edward also had a special appreciation for collecting green glass and took pride in finding unique pieces to add to his collection.

He greets in Heaven his parents, Kenneth and Beverly Morrow, and his baby sister, Melody May Morrow.

Left to cherish his memory are four siblings, Steven Ray Morrow of Wills Point, Darla Gay Shattles of Hawkins, Beverly Kay Malone of Cooper, and Lydia Fay Layman of Hawkins; nephew, Steven Paul Morrow of Hawkins; and several other nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
