Funeral services for Edward "Pete" Looney, 84 Quitman are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday July 19, 2014 Sand Springs Baptist Church, Mineola with Brothers Nick Kerry and Gordon Schulz officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Fork Cemetery, Rains County. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday evening July 18th at Lowe Funeral Home, Quitman.

Edward Edison Looney was born June 3, 1930 in Floydada, TX to Joseph Paul and Lillie Mae Littrell Looney and passed away July 16,2014 in Winnsboro. He is preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
He is survived by his wife Alice Looney, Quitman; 4 sons, Edward Looney and wife Marjorie, Denton, Anthony Looney and wife Robin, Denton; William Looney and wife Angie, Lubbock and Pete Looney, Corinth; 1 daughter, Karen Schulz and husband Gordon, Quitman; 17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
