Edna Rae Carter

Edna Rae Carter, born October 31, 1934 in McClennan County, Texas, died May 18, 2020 in Tyler, Texas in Home Place Hospice at the age of 85.   She loved God with all her heart and passed down a precious legacy to her children and grandchildren.  She loved gardening and “playing in the dirt”!  She is survived by daughters, Judy Buford, Debbie Harlin and Susan Rogers, Grandchildren, Buddy Harlin, Marcus Harlin, Scott Gates, Jennifer Strickland, and Michelle Eley, 12 great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. She was preceded in death by her mother & father, 3 sisters and 1 brother, 1 son in law, and her beloved Aunt Eppie.  Services, 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2020 at First Baptist Church Quitman with Dr. Marcus Alexander officiating.  Interment at Rock Hill Cemetery.
