Eddie Ruth Walker
Eddie Ruth Walker, age 84, passed away at her home on December 26, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carter and Dora Dowdy, and her brother, Charles Dowdy. Also there to welcome her into heaven was her husband and one and only love, Jim Walker, who died in 2013.
Ruth is survived by her 3 children, Mike (Missie) Walker, Cyndi (Gary) Sibley, and Sandi (Jim Brown) Jackson. She also leaves behind her 4 grandchildren, Kyle (Leslie) Jackson, Andy (Amy) Walker, Craig Jackson, and Jamie Jackson; niece, Daphne Dowdy; nephew, Carter Dowdy; and great grandchildren, Ava and Cohen Walker.
Ruth was a loving, loyal, and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank Joyce, Stacey, and Yvette from The Hospice of East Texas for their wonderful care and support.
A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 1:00PM.
