Funeral services for Druevelle Attaway Smith, 87 Mineola are scheduled for 2:30 P.M. Sunday, January 5, 2014 Smith Chapel United Methodist Church, Mineola. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1:30 P.M. at the church. Druevelle was born June 1, 1926 in Yantis, TX to Roland B. and Patience Grace Sykes Attaway. She was a homemaker and had lived in Mineola most of her life. She was a member of the Smith Chapel United Methodist Church, Mineola.

Druevelle is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Smith. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce T. and Susan Smith, Mineola; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Terry Gage, Mineola, Sandra and James Savage, Lindale; 1 brother, Jake Attaway, Mineola; 1 sister Valree Harrell, Dallas, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
