Donna Jean (Taylor) MacElroy was born in Fort Monmouth NJ to Douglas Taylor and Patricia (Estes) Taylor on November 7, 1957.
Donna grew up in Pennsylvania where she graduated from Cumberland Valley High School. She attended Gordon College in Massachusetts where she studied Political Science and English Literature. She later completed Medical Transcription at Eastfield College.
Donna worked for Crabtree and Evelyn doing store planning and design and also Marilou’s Children in Richardson Texas.
Donna possessed many gifts and was always learning new things, among them were needlework sewing, languages. She had a beautiful voice, a great sense of humor, and was a great cook. She loved the Christmas seasons and made even simple things special occasions.
Donna committed her life to Jesus Christ at a young age and devoted her life to serving God and her family. She always showed great strength and dignity through many health challenges. She will be remembered for her love of family, friends, her beautiful letters, and for the joy of life that God gave her.
Donna is survived by her husband Peter MacElroy, daughter Jacqueline Perkins, son Andrew MacElroy wife Sarah, Grandsons Sterling, Hunter and Gavin. Her Son Nathaniel MacElroy, Brother James Taylor, also her niece Stephanie Lara husband Arturo and great nephews Cohen and Maxim. Sister-in-law Robin and husband Steve Bowser.
