Donald Wayne Brian, 63, of Quitman, Texas, passed away in a Tyler hospital on October 17, 2026. Donald was a one-of-a-kind character who lived life on his own terms, kept people guessing, and made sure there was never a shortage of stories to tell. With a mischievous grin, a quick wit, and a talent for keeping everyone on their toes, Donald left behind a lifetime of laughter, memories, and a few tales that those who knew him will probably be telling for years to come.

Donald was born on January 8, 1963, in Marshall, Texas, to Curwin Frank Brian and Barbara Dickerson Brian. He spent most of his life in Wood County and attended Mineola High School. Donald worked in the construction business for most of his life, and when he wasn't working, he could often be found fishing, picking up scrap metal to haul to the scrap yard, or striking up a conversation with just about anyone who crossed his path.

If you knew Donald, you knew you were in for a story. He had a way of turning an ordinary conversation into an unforgettable tale, and whether you believed every word or not, you couldn't help but listen. Donald was a natural storyteller with a mischievous streak that stayed with him throughout his life. He loved to tease, joke, and aggravate the people around him, especially those he loved the most. For Donald, giving someone a hard time was often just another way of showing affection. You never quite knew what he might say or do next, and that was part of what made him so memorable. His friends and family knew him affectionately as the "Dirty White Boy," a nickname that suited his colorful personality and the character they all knew and loved.

But behind the mischief, the wild stories, and the endless teasing was a man with a big heart. Donald might give you a hard time one minute, but if you needed help, he would be there the next. He was the kind of man who would give anyone he met the shirt off his back if they needed it. Beneath his rough-and-tumble ways was a generous spirit and a willingness to help others without expecting anything in return. Those who knew him best understood that his heart was just as big as his personality, and that his love for his family and friends ran deep.

Donald met Christina Wall, and the two shared 24 years together, building a life filled with memories, laughter, and all the little moments that make a relationship unique. His presence brought a special kind of energy into the lives of those around him, and his absence will leave a space that cannot be filled. While his loved ones will miss his stories, his teasing, and his mischievous ways, they will forever carry the memories of a man who knew how to make life interesting and leave a lasting impression.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Curwin Frank Brian and Barbara Dickerson Brian, and his nephew, Joel Tucker.

Left to cherish their memories of Donald are his wife, Christina Wall; his children, Amber Brian, Kimber Stevens, Russell Brian, Kimberly Wall, Elizabeth Wall, and James Wall; his bonus daughter, Rebecca Bell; his sisters, Loretta Huff and Tina Mosser; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who were fortunate enough to share in his life.

Donald Wayne Brian was a man who lived with a mischievous spirit, loved with a generous heart, and never passed up an opportunity to make someone laugh or shake their head at one of his stories. He may be gone, but the stories will live on, the laughter will be remembered, and those who loved him will always have a tale or two of their own to tell about the "Dirty White Boy."
