Don Van Hines

Funeral services for Don Van Hines 80 of Quitman are scheduled for 2.00 P.M. Friday, May 16, 2014, Lowe Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes, Quitman with Dr. Dick White and Bro. Fred Morrow officiating.
Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hr. prior to service time at the funeral home.

Don was born October 1, 1933 in Quitman to Marcus and Lois Dueson Hines and passed away May 13, 2014 in Tyler. He lived in Tyler from 1968-2000 and returned to Quitman when he retired from Tyler Pipe after 44 yrs. He is preceded in death by a son Jimmy in 1978.
Don is survived by his wife of 60 years, Willadene Hines, Quitman; 2 sons, Charles Hines and Angie, Flint and Allen Hines and Cindy, Chandler; 2 sisters Jane Shirley and Jean Taylor both of Quitman; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
