A Celebration of Life for Cynthia “Cindi” Alice Thomas, 71, of Quitman, will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Oak Ridge Marina in Quitman, Texas. Family, friends, and neighbors are invited to join as we gather to share stories and fond memories of Cindi.

Cindi was born in Alexander, Louisiana on February 18, 1947 to Dale Curtis and Mary Elizabeth (Burt) Williams. She moved to Quitman from Franklin, Tennessee. Cindi enjoyed horseback riding and was a dog lover. She timed for the LA Rodeo Association for a number of years, and had worked for Ameco in Tyler for the last 10-12 years.

Cindi had a personality that could light up the room and was always finding something to laugh at. Her laugh was genuine, throaty, and contagious. Cindi loved her sister and friends that she considered extended family. And she was adored by them in return - among them, her Dallas Stars family, her lake community family, her work family, her rodeo family, and, of course, her furry babies.

Cindi passed away November 26, 2018 at her home.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Mary Beth Switzer of Sevierville, TN.
