Curtis Ray Kelley

Curtis Ray Kelley, 63, of Quitman Texas, went on to join our Lord and Savior on May 19, 2020. He was born to parents Reathell and Ruby Kelley on May 28, 1956. He grew up and lived in the Quitman area all his life. He married the love of his life, Darlene, on September 29, 1979 and they spent 40 wonderful years together building a life and family. He was employed at Tyler Pipe where he worked as a grinder for 25 years.

Curtis is proceeded in death by his grandson Jermetris Lipscomb.

Left to cherish his precious memory are his wife, Darlene Kelley of 40 years; sons, Curtis Kelley (wife Ladonna) of Mineola, Wilbur McKind of Nacogdoches; daughters Vontisha Kimble (husband Lester) of Lindale, Veronica Lipscomb of Mineola; sister, Vanessa Kelley of Ponder; his 10 grandchildren, Vontara Kimble, Leston Kimble, Jermiah Lipscomb, Jermarius Lipscomb, Dezmond Lipscomb, Viviana Wesley, Corben Kelley, Cameron Kelley, Alexis McKind, and Wy Kyria McKind. He will also be greatly missed by the friends he made throughout his lifetime.

Active Pallbearers; Fred Pipkin, Anthony Berry, Earl Harper, Jeremay Lipscomb, Bobby Roy Grant, Bill Earl Grant.

Honorary Pallbearers; Lester Kimble, Leston Kimble, Jermiah Lipscomb, Cameron Kelley, Dezmond Lipscomb, Jermarius Lipscomb, Corben Kelley, and Darvente Lankford.


Visitation for Curtis Kelley will be at Lowe Funeral Home Saturday May 23, 2020 at 12:00 PM, followed by the service at Lowe Funeral Home at 2:00 PM.

He will be laid to rest at the Freeman Cemetery in Mineola Texas.
