Funeral Services for Colene Turner Williams, 81, Mineola are scheduled for Thursday, June 21st, 2:00 P.M. at Macedonia Baptist Church with Brother Fred Morrow and Reverend Thomas Ricks officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Colene was born July 9, 1930 to Sherman George and Martha Hammond Turner in the Crow Community in Wood County. She was a homemaker and enjoyed canning, cooking and fishing. She found her greatest joy with her family. She devoted her life caring for others. Colene attended Macedonia School/Church her entire life. She is preceded by her parents, 1 Sister, Ima Love Edwards and 1 Daughter Julie Williams.

Colene is survived by her husband of 66 years Walter Williams, Mineola, Tx; 4 Sons, Treyon Williams of Mineola; Dale Williams, Mesquite, Tx., Doug Williams, Mineola, Tx., Marlin Williams, Hawkins, Tx., 1 Daughter, Dollene Brownlee,Hawkins, TX., 1 Brother, Dan Turner, Hawkins, TX., 1 Sister, Tommie Jo Mooney, Idabel, OK. 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren.
