Funeral services for Clyde Brady, 94, Quitman are sechuled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 7, 2014, Myrtle Springs Baptist Church, Quitman with Brothers Heith Mitchell and Fred Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Myrtle Springs Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday evening November 6th at Lowe Funeral Home Quitman.

Clyde was born April 18, 1920 in Winnsboro to the late Joe and Mattie Rushing Brady and passed away Tuesday morning, November 4, 2014 at his residence in Quitman. He is preceded in death by his wife Susan Stanberry Brady, 2003 and son Tom Brady, 2010.

Clyde served on the board of directors of Myrtle Springs Cemetery Association, Quitman; Federal Land Bank Association, Sulphur Springs; Texas Baptist Home for Children, Waxahachie; Jacksonville Baptist College, Jacksonville and Wood County Electric, Quitman. He started working at the First National Bank, Quitman in 1948; promoted to Vice President and Cashier, 1963; voted onto the Board of Directors , January 1967; promoted to President, 1979 and retired in 1989. He was a 4-H Leader and owner and realtor of Century 21.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Shirley Rushing and husband Billy and Debra Holcombe and husband Bob of Quitman; 5 grandchildren, Heather Rushing Taylor and husband Jeremy, Lindale, Corie Rushing Littlejohn and husband J. B., Pittsburg; Brady Holcombe, Tyler; Brandi and Britney Holcombe of Quitman; 5 great grandchildren, Jozie and Gavin Taylor, Lindale; Makena, Kyler and Cooper Littlejohn, Pittsburg; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Memorials may be made to the Myrtle Springs Cemetery Association.
