Chelsey Taylor Pecina

    Chelsey Taylor Harvey Pecina, 31, passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2022.  She was born on November 21, 1990 to David and Lisa Harvey in Dallas, Texas.  She was married to Jacob Pecina, the love of her life, for a short but happy 5 years.  She had 2 precious daughters, Presley Ray and Stella Mae. They were her everything and sunshine’s of her life.  She was a devoted mother and wife and loved her family so much. Chelsey grew up in Mesquite Texas where she was very involved in drill team, basketball, tennis and cheerleading.  She grew up attending Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church where she was very involved in the Children’s and Youth programs.  She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the age of 9. She and her sister Lindsey enjoyed going to the Zodiac Room at Neiman Marcus, riding in Lindsey’s purple bug and so much more. One of her favorite memories as a child was going to Fredericksburg and the Lake House with her family. She had various jobs over the past few years but her passion was doing hair.  She had a dream of going back to school to start doing hair again. Chelsey had a smile that warmed your heart, she loved life and her family so.

    She is proceeded in death by her Poppie, Devon Reed, Jr.; MeeMaw, Helen Harvey; Grandy, Barbara Winn; Granddad, Marshall Winn; great grandparents, Naomi and Devon Reed, Sr., Harry and Helen Holmes and Louise Harvey.

    She is survived by her husband, Jacob Pecina; daughters, Presley Ray Horton and Stella Mae Pecina; her mother and stepfather, Lisa and Marty Winn; her father and stepmother, David and Jamie Harvey; sister, Lindsey West, her husband, James; brother, Caden Harvey; brother, Zach Winn and his wife Adela; brother, Justin Winn and his wife Lauren; nephews, Nathan and Connor West, Jaxon Winn, Luke and Dylan Pecina; nieces, Charlie, Jade, Remi and Hazel Winn. Her grandmother, Vickie Reed Volkers and her husband Steve; grandfather, James Harvey. Her in-laws, Cindy and Lupe Pecina; brother’s in law, Jordan, Justin, Jarek and his wife Pam Pecina; sister-in-law, Jasmine Pecina; and many aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved so dearly. She was a bright light of spunk and sass and will be so missed. We love you Chelsey Taylor!

A memorial service will be held 10:00AM Friday, July 15 at Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church, 9810 La Prada Dr., Dallas TX 75228
