Charles David Malone, 64, of Quitman, Texas, went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2021.
Charles, “Charlie” to his friends and family lived in Quitman, Texas for the past 40 years with his lovely wife, Margaret. He grew up in Mississippi and early in life developed a love for fishing and camping. He particularly loved “Flint Creek”. It was a man-made lake that had a swimming area and a fishing area that allowed boats. He would spend all day enjoying these activities in the great outdoors. His other love was spending time with his grandkids. He was a member of the First Baptist Church-Quitman. Charlie will be missed by all that knew him.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Melba Malone; brother, Mike Malone; and sister Patsy Koopman.
Left to Cherish his memory are his wife, Margaret of Quitman; son, Josh Malone of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter, Janet Toto of Quitman; brother, Shawn Malone; sister, Molly Wansley; grandchildren, Cheyanne Malone of Arkansas, Ashlyn Malone of Missouri, Taylor Malone of Missouri, Shaeleigh Malone of Missouri, Matt and Sarah Williams of Quitman, and Sammie and Charlotte Toto of Quitman; great-grandchildren, Ivey and Caiden of Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 12, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church – Quitman. All family and friends are invited to enjoy food and fellowship after the service in the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
