Charles Elmer Horn

Funeral services for Charles "Chuck" Horn, 81, Quitman are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the First Assembly of God Church Quitman with Reverends Ken Otwell and Jim Herriage officiating. Burial will follow in the Quitman City Cemetery.

Charles "Chuck" as he is known by many was born November 18, 1930 to Hezzy Austin and Ola May Chapman Horn in Frost, TX. He passed away May 15, 2012 in Tyler. Chuck was retired as Director of Public Works for the City of Quitman. He moved to Quitman 19 years ago coming from Golden. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Quitman.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, 1 Granddaughter, Cheyenne Horn and 2 Brothers, O.C. and Alton Horn.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene Horn, Quitman; 1 Son, Charles Horn, Ridge Crest, CA; 1 Daughter, Janice Williams, Gilbert, AZ; 1 Brother; Harold Horn, Quitman; 1 Sister, Allene Lewis, Quitman. 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.

Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 P.M.,Friday evening, May 18th at the funeral home.
