C L Strickland

Funeral Service for C.L. Strickland, 85, of Mineola, is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 27, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home, with Jerry Phelps officiating.  The Family will receive friends, Sunday, January 26, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home.  

C.L. Strickland was born in the Collin County area on June 3, 1934 to Charles Leonard Strickland and Bertha Aldridge Strickland.  C.L. was an Inspector for The State of Texas Department of Transportation.  C.L. passed away at his home on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

C.L. is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lela Irene Strickland, his brothers, Carlis Strickland and Joe Strickland and his Son-in-Law, Mike Cabe.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Wilton Strickland and wife Tami of Hawkins and Jeffery Strickland of Mineola; two daughters, Anita Wylie and husband Jim of Mineola, and Sandy Cabe of Winnsboro; Sister, Oletha Yarbrough of Seagoville; 14 Grandchildren; 30 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild, and many extended family members and friends.

Serving as Pallbearers are Kevin Strickland, Kyle Strickland, Cody Strickland, Justin Strickland, Heath Strickland, Brandon Brown, Chuck Weatherford, and Clayton Pasteka.
