Brandon Dale Asbill

Brandon Dale Asbill, passed away on June 3, 2024, in Longview, Texas. He was born on March 19, 1980, in Pittsburg, Texas to Terry and Mary (Mezzell) Asbill. Brandon was known for his passion for carpentry as a self-employed carpenter and his dedication to his work.


In addition to his professional pursuits, Brandon enjoyed various hobbies and interests. He found solace in listening to Texas Singer/Songwriter country music, spending time by the campfire, and expressing his creativity through geometric designs that adorned the beautiful wood pieces he crafted.


Brandon graduated from Quitman High School in 1998. He earned a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Business at Texas A&M-Commerce. 


Brandon's impact on those around him was immeasurable. He touched the lives of many during his time at the Highway 80 Rescue Mission in Longview and Gideons Restoration Church in Winnsboro. His warm personality and genuine kindness will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.


Brandon is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Morris and Christine Asbill; and maternal grandparents, Romie and Rita Mezzell. 


He is survived by his loving parents Terry Asbill and Mary (Mezzell) Asbill of Eustace, Texas; daughter Aubrey Christine; brother Aaron Asbill and Michelle Garrett of Temple, Texas; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins who will hold onto precious memories of him forever.

A Celebration of Brandon's life will be held July 27th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hwy. 80 Rescue Mission Chapel in Longview, Texas (3117 W. Marshall, Longview, Texas 75604).
