Birdie Ruth Phillips

Funeral service for Mrs. B. Ruth Phillip, 80, Quitman, are scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, Forest Hill Baptist Church, Quitman with Brother James Wheat and Brother Joe Strbeck officiating. Burial will be in Clover Hill Cemetery, Quitman under direction of Lowe Funeral Home. Ruth was a seamstress and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband: Leon Phillips-2005; brother: N. D. Allen and one grandson, Leon Graves. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church, Quitman and has lived in Quitman since 1954.

Ruth is survived by 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law: Mary Lou Kernes and David; Betty Phillips, and Brenda Hicks and Norman all of Quitman. 1 Sister Louise Rounsaball, New Waverly, TX.
Grandchildren: Kimberly Horton, Michelle Cameron, Jason Hicks, Debrahle Hicks, Steven Roberts, Bill Phillips, Jody Gravs, Sheila Lalane.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM Monday evening, Feb. 13th at Lowe Funeral Home.
