Bill Nathaniel Laird, Jr.

Billy Nathaniel Laird Jr. passed away peacefully at his home on September 21,2021 at the age of 63.

Bill was born in Brownwood, TX on December 24, 1957 to Billy Nathaniel Laird Sr. and Lillie Jo McCartney. He served his country proudly in the US Army after graduating high school and later began his career as a Pipeline Inspector. In the fall of 2020, Bill retired with Energy Transfer Service, and was recognized as an accomplished hardworking professional. During his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, fishing, traveling, and hunting. Bill was known as an incredibly generous man with a heart for Jesus.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lillie Jo McCartney; and father Billy Nathaniel Laird Sr.

Left to cherish his memory are his children - Johnathon Laird and his wife Carolina of Lemon Grove, CA, Chris Laird of Odessa, TX, Jennifer Price and her husband Lem of Weatherford, TX. Siblings, Joey, Michelle, Robert “Bob”, Harvey “Spud”, and Patricia ; two granddaughters Michelle and Emily Wallace, nephews, Justin and Jason Laird, nieces, Ashley, Alex and Emily.
