Funeral services for Betty Jeanne Bussell, 88, Quitman are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 3, 2015, Spur On Ministries, Quitman, Brother Mike Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in Yantis City Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday evening, January 2nd, Lowe Funeral Home Quitman.

Jeanne was born November 4,1926 in Bowie, Texas to William Walter and Cora Eva Willingham Shields and passed away December 31, 2014 at her residence in Quitman. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She moved to Wood County from Houston in 1987. She is preceded in death by her husband James Paul Bussell. Jeanne is survived by 1 son, Steven Bussell, Quitman, 1 brother, Dake Shields, Whitney, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
