Betty Miller Bozeman

April 14, 1927-September 26,2026

Betty was born to Theo and Mildred Hightower Miller in Whiteright,TX. She was a graduate of Quitman high school and she studied art at SMU, Dallas. Theo and Mildred were owner-operators of the historic Gem Theatre in downtown Quitman. Betty met Paul Bozeman while working as a geological draftsman at Magnolia Oil Company in downtown Dallas. When Magnolia was bought by Texaco they were transferred to Midland. She worked as a school secretary and they were very active in the Lions Club. Paul was district governor of the Lions Club. They retired to Quitman after many years of Lions Club conventions and his work as a landman with Houston Oil and Minerals and High Plains Exploration. Paul also worked for Wood County Electric Co-op. Betty is survived by her daughter, Laura Bozeman, nephew Dan and Rose Trott and niece Paula Trott Fouchek.
