Betty Jean Boyd

Betty Jean Boyd, age 83, of Hawkins, Texas passed away on, August 5, 2020 in Tyler. She was born on August 6, 1936 in Dallas, Texas to Ernest R. and Evelyn Frances (Talbot) Boyd. Betty worked for many years for Sears until her retirement and was a member of Hainesville Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Joanne Jenkins and her brother, Ernest R. Boyd, Jr. Surviving family includes her nephews and nieces as well as many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Betty Jean Boyd are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the Boyd Family Cemetery, CR 3861, Hawkins. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home in Quitman on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 6 until 8 P.M.
