Funeral services for Bettie Almond, 81 Quitman are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 , Lowe Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes, Quitman with Rev. James Nickell officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1219, N. Davis, Arlington, TX. Family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. (one hour prior to service time at Lowe Funeral Home.) Bettie lived in Quitman since 1984 moving from Arlington. She was a member of the First Baptist Church Quitman and was a homemaker. Bettie is survived by her husband Johnny Almond, Quitman; 1 brother, Orvice Joe Green, Galveston and several cousins including Ron Poe and Don Poe, Hideaway, Tx. and Gaston Benton, Winnsboro, Tx.
