Memorial services for Bernice Yocom, 85,Gladewater, formerly of Quitman are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, June 21st at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel, Quitman with Brother Fred Morrow officiating. Rosery is 5:00 Pm Thursday, June 20th at Lowe Funeral Home with visitation being from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Bernice was born January 24, 1928 in Des Moines, IA. to Joseph Emmit and Ellen Beatrice Gordon Fines. She was a retired Licensed Vocational Nurse. She moved to Quitman in 1962 coming from Gilmer. She lived the past three years in Gladewater. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sister Mary Margaret Fines.

Bernice is survived by 2 sons, Mickey Yocom and Cathy, Lancing, TN, Monty Yocom and Cindi, Mineola, Tx; 2 daughters, Chris Blann and Larry, Parker, TX, Cindy Lindsey and Rex, Gladewater, TX.; 1 sister, Helen Cunningham, Des Moines, IA; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
