Benny Harold Brown

Memorial services for Benny Harold Brown, 78 of Mineola are scheduled for 3 P.M. Sunday at Tinney Chapel United Methodist Church in Winnsboro with Revs. Jim Hilton and Sue Gross officiating.

Benny was born October 11, 1936 in Golden, TX to Harold and Cleta Faye Patrick Brown. He was a Farmer and also worked for Wood County Pct. 1. Benny was a member of Tinney Chapel United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by a son, Stevie Brown in 1963.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Newton Brown, Winnsboro; son Danny Brown and his wife Norma, Alba; daughter Stephanie Britton and husband Joe, Mineola; Step-Children Cheryl Ann Newton, Tyler; Teddy Newton, Winnsboro; and Tanya Newton, Winnsboro; Sister Pat Wright, Alba; 15 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren.
