Barbara Jane Nickes

Barbara Jane Nickes, age 80 of Quitman, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020 in Quitman. She was born on September 27, 1939 in Victoria, Texas. She was a member of many years at the Pilgrim Rest #2 Baptist Church.

A graveside service for Barbara will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday September 23, 2020 at the Little Hope Cemetery in Wood County, Texas with Pastor Jason Walters officiating.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Nickes; her parents, J.L. and Rubye (Mullins) Maxwell; and a daughter Carla. She is survived by her son, Carl Stephen Braswell of Howe, Texas; and brother, Travis and his wife Nelda Jean Maxwell of Georgetown, Texas.
