Funeral services for Ashton L Miller, 24, of Quitman, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, January 19, 2019 at First Assembly of God in Quitman with Cory Sandberg officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday evening at Lowe Funeral Home.
Ashton Miller was born October 9, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jamie and Amy Miller. At such a young age, Ashton touched the lives of so many family members and friends. He served as a missionary for God and touched many lives all over the world. He was a sweet soul and had a gentle heart. He stayed strong for his family as he fought his battle with cancer, always saying âgive it to Godâ. He showed vast courage and love and showed everyone how happiness was possible in any situation. Ashton served his God humbly and graciously and is now home with Jesus, riding his skateboard on the streets of gold.
Ashton took Jesusâ hand and entered Heavenâs gates on January 13, 2019 at 11:20 AM.
He is preceded in death by his great grandfather, Ray Phillips; great grandmother, Helen Porter; cousin, Lylah Williams; and uncles, Steve White and Greg White.
Ashton was a son, a grandson, a great grandson, a nephew, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, and a wonderful friend to everyone he met.
Serving as pallbearers are Christopher Miller, Gabriel Hass, Ricky Williams, Kenneth Anglin, Jamie Miller, Savanna Barnett, Jordan Williams, and Linton White. Honorary pallbearer is Jordan Miller.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that a donation be made to Ashtonâs Go Fund Me or Memorial Fund set up at City National Bank Quitman.
