Ann Harris

Memorial service for Ann Harris, 77, of Quitman, is scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Brother Fred Morrow officiating.

Delores Ann Harris was born in Wood County on August 26, 1939 to Arthur Lee and Mattie Gertrude (Green) Amason. She lived in Quitman her entire life, where she was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Ann was a nurse’s aide for more than 20 years, and enjoyed taking care of others.

Ann went to be with the Lord Tuesday night, December 6, 2016.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Avis Hass; one brother, Harlon Coggin; and her husband, Sam Harris.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Lynn Duke of Quitman, and Barry Duke and wife Amy of Tulsa; daughter, Cindy Harris of Mineola; sisters, Jeanne Harris of LaRue and Tommie Bradshaw of Quitman; two grandchildren, Ashley Duke and Kevin Anthony Perotti; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
