IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Angelia Jean
Fredrickson
December 21, 1963 – March 14, 2026
Angelia Jean Fredrickson, 62, of Yantis, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on March 14, 2026.
Angelia was born on December 21, 1963, in Hollandale, Mississippi, to Don Woodrow Gamble, Sr. and Hazel Laverne Siddon Gamble. She grew up in Greenville, Mississippi, where she attended school. Angelia had a passion for bodybuilding and competitive arm wrestling, earning numerous trophies throughout her years of competition. Following her competitive career, she went on to work as a manager at Walmart, where she enjoyed interacting with the public and building meaningful relationships with her coworkers.
Angelia loved life on the farm and took great pride in caring for her family. Above all, she cherished her children and grandchildren. She married Terry Fredrickson on August 25, 2011, and the two remained devoted to one another through all of life’s joys and challenges. Together, they built a life in Yantis, where they formed many lasting friendships over the past five years. Some of their favorite moments were spent sitting on the front porch watching the sunset, taking rides on their side-by-side, and fishing in the pond. Their horses were not just animals, but beloved members of the family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Hazel Gamble.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Terry Fredrickson; daughters, Brandie Smith and Tiffany (Kyle) Sexton; son, Jody Hyer; brother, Don Gambel; grandchildren, Kenzie Norris, Samantha Diven, Cayden Smith, Baylen Smith, Leegan Smith, Evy Moro, and Lainey Moro; three aunts whom she loved dearly; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
A graveside service for Angelia will be held on March 26, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Quitman Cemetery in Quitman, Texas.
