Alice Gilcrease

Alice Gilcrease, 85, of Quitman, Texas returned to her heavenly home on July 18, 2021 with her family by her side. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Lowe-Gardner Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM – 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held for Mrs. Gilcrease on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 2:00PM at Forest Hill Baptist Church followed by interment at Concord Cemetery. Alice was born on June 15, 1936 to parents William Hayden and Vivian Harvey Glasscock in Mineola, Texas.  She was a lifelong resident of the area. Alice was a store manager and attended Forest Hill Baptist Church. She was introduced to her one true love, Joseph “Gil” Gilcrease, by John & Rose Savage and the two wed on April 16, 1970. She loved knitting and to be around her family. She is preceded by her parents, and sister Lou Kitchens. Alice is survived by her husband of 51 years; her daughter Debra Teter (husband Brian); grandchildren Haley, Holly, and Joey Teter; along with many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
