Glen Dora Slaughter

Glen Dora Stephens Slaughter was born November 29, 1931 and was reborn into Heaven March 15, 2021. She was survived by her three children Dale Slaughter, Debra Luttrell, and Suzanne Wofford. Glendy was blessed with 2 grandsons, Clay Luttrell and Weston Wofford. She had 2 great grandchildren, Aspen and Beckham Luttrell. In addition, she is survived by her sister and brother Dionne McRae and Jay Stephens and sister-in-law Tavie Stephens.  She was proceeded in death and reunited in Heaven by her loving husband, Obie Slaughter. Glen was born to Gladys Guthrie Stephens and Jewel Stephens in Upshur County and her family included Virginia Palmer, Violet Attaway, and Billy Stephens all who have preceded her and were there to greet her in Heaven. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her smiling face and beautiful spirit. We rejoice in knowing our precious mother no longer struggles in her earthly journey and that we will someday once again hold her hand.
