Brian Todd Maples was born on June 1, 1983 in Plano, TX to Lisa Dianne Turner and James Keith Maples. He grew up in The Colony, Texas and spent most of his childhood at Lake Lewisville, where he enjoyed boating, camping, and fishing with his family. Spending time on his grandparent’s farm in Yantis, Texas was one of his favorite things to do.

Many people loved Brian, as he had a huge heart. Brian was very witty, always cracking jokes, and always making people smile. His laugh was contagious and he loved his friends and family.

Brian is now dancing in the sky with his maternal grandfather, Fred “Pappaw” Wittwer, who was his biggest fan and advocate; maternal step-grandfather, Floyd Davis; and paternal great grandmother, Catherine Rose “Mammaw” Pickney.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Lisa Turner of Carrolton; father, James Maples of Yantis; son, Keith Maples of Carrolton; girlfriend, Jennifer Fielder of Corpus Christi; paternal grandparents, James and Laverne Cunningham of Yantis, and Colan Maples of Brownwood; maternal grandparents, Jo Ann Davis-Vik and husband Bob of Carrolton, and Susan Gilliland Wittwer of Carrolton; sister and very best friend, Sarah Mae Sarver of The Colony; niece and nephew, Olivia Ferguson and Isaac Sivla; very special “nephew”, Jonathan David Cunningham; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
